Turning a dream into a reality for a seriously ill child is our mission at the St. Louis Dream Factory. Our main goal is to create memories that last a lifetime for seriously ill children and their families. To a seriously-ill child, the opportunity to enjoy the simple pleasures of childhood can be the best medicine of all. It may be the inspiration that motivates the child to hang in there through a time of great suffering and burdensome treatment.
The Dream Factory of Saint Louis was founded in 1983 -- one of a network of non-profit Dream Factory chapters. Because we have no paid employees, our expenses are kept remarkably low. In fact, over 85 cents of each dollar contributed to the Dream Factory goes directly to granting dreams in the Saint Louis metro area.
